الوحدة

فقد كانت أيام كآبتي طويلة ضمن جدرانها، وأطول منها كانت ليالي وحدتي وانفرادي، ومن ذا يستطيع أن ينفصل عن كآبته ووحدته من غير أن يتألم في قلبه؟

“Long were the days of my anguish between these walls, and longer still the nights I kept company with silence. For who among us can tear themselves from their sorrow and solitude without the heart crying out in protest?”

فعندما تكون وحيداً، من السهل أن تخدع نفسك ويخيَّل إليك أنك تسير على الطريق القويم. أما الخلوة فهي أفضل لنا، لأنها تعني أن تكون من دون أن تشعر بأنك وحيد. تذكَّر أنك لا تستطيع أن ترى نفسك حقاً، إلا في قلب شخص آخر.

“When we are alone, it is easy to deceive ourselves — to imagine we walk a righteous path. But true solitude is something richer: to be with oneself without the ache of loneliness. Remember, you cannot truly see your own face — only in the mirror of another heart.”

في صمتِ الليلِ تسمعُ الروحُ ما لا تسمعه الأذن في صخب النهار

“In the silence of the night the soul hears what the ear cannot hear in the noise of the day.”

الذِّكرى شَكلٌ مِن أَشكالِ اللِّقاء

“Remembrance is a form of meeting.”

الوَحدَةُ عاصِفَةٌ صامِتَةٌ تُحَطِّمُ أَغصانَنا المَيِّتَة

“Solitude is a silent storm that breaks down all our dead branches.”

قَارِئَةُ الفِنْجَانِ قَالَتْ: يَا وَلَدِي لَا تَحْزَنْ.. فَالغُرْبَةُ لِلْشُّعَرَاءِ وَطَن

“The cup reader said: My son, do not be sad; for exile is a homeland for poets.”

لَمْ يَبْقَ عِنْدِي مَا أَقُولُهُ.. تَعِبَ الكَلَامُ مِنَ الكَلَام

“I have nothing left to say; words are tired of words.”

الوَحدَةُ لا تَعني الفَراغَ، إِنَّها تَعني المَلءُ بِأَشياءَ أَكبَرُ مِنّا

“Solitude does not mean emptiness — it means being filled with things greater than ourselves.”
