All Quotes

فَتَعَٰلَى ٱللَّهُ ٱلْمَلِكُ ٱلْحَقُّ ۗ وَلَا تَعْجَلْ بِٱلْقُرْءَانِ مِن قَبْلِ أَن يُقْضَىٰٓ إِلَيْكَ وَحْيُهُۥ ۖ وَقُل رَّبِّ زِدْنِى عِلْمًۭا

“Let this be the prayer of every seeker: O Lord, ever increase me in knowledge.”

وَإِنَّ المَوتَ أَعدَلُ مِن حُكّامٍ عَلى وَجهِ البَسيطَةِ لَو عَدَلنا

“Death is more just than any ruler on the face of the earth, if we were to be fair.”

وَٱصْبِرْ فَإِنَّ ٱللَّهَ لَا يُضِيعُ أَجْرَ ٱلْمُحْسِنِينَ

“Persevere — for Allah never lets the effort of the righteous vanish unrewarded.”

الذَّاكِرَةُ ليسَت ما نَتَذَكَّرُه، بَل ما نَختارُ أَن نَنساه

“Memory is not what we remember, but what we choose to forget.”

أَتَيتُ إِلى هَذا العالَمِ بِلا عُنوان، لَكِنَّني عِشتُ فيهِ بِكُلِّ عُنوان

“I came into this world without an address, but I lived in it with every address.”

المَرأَةُ التي تَكتُبُ لا تَستَسلِم، إِنَّها تَترُكُ لِنَفسِها مَخرَجاً دائِماً

“A woman who writes does not surrender — she always leaves herself a way out.”

الحُبُّ الحَقيقيُّ لا يَسأَلُ عَن الثَّمَن، لِأَنَّهُ يَعرِفُ أَنَّ لا ثَمَنَ لَه

“True love does not ask about the price, because it knows there is none.”

ثَمَّةَ كُتُبٌ تَقرَؤُها وَثَمَّةَ كُتُبٌ تَقرَؤُك

“There are books you read, and books that read you.”

الوَحدَةُ لا تَعني الفَراغَ، إِنَّها تَعني المَلءُ بِأَشياءَ أَكبَرُ مِنّا

“Solitude does not mean emptiness — it means being filled with things greater than ourselves.”

كُلُّ كَلِمَةٍ أَكتُبُها هيَ جِسرٌ أَعبُرُهُ مِن الصَّمتِ إِلى الوُجود

“Every word I write is a bridge I cross from silence into existence.”

نَحنُ لا نَنسى مَن أَحبَبناهُم، نَحنُ نَتَعَلَّمُ فَقَط كَيفَ نَحيا بِدونِهِم

“We do not forget those we loved — we only learn how to live without them.”

الغِيابُ يُكَبِّرُ الأَشياءَ وَيَجعَلُها أَعظَمَ مِمّا هيَ في الحَقيقَة

“Absence magnifies things and makes them greater than they truly are.”

لا شَيءَ يُشبِهُ الكِتابَةَ، إِنَّها الطَّريقُ الوَحيدُ لِأَن نَعيشَ مَرَّتَين

“Nothing resembles writing — it is the only way to live twice.”

في الحُبِّ كَما في الحَرب، اللَّحظَةُ الفارِقَةُ هيَ التي تَكونُ فيها أَعزَلَ تَماماً

“In love as in war, the decisive moment is when you are completely unarmed.”

الوَطَنُ هوَ اللُّغَةُ التي نَحمِلُها مَعَنا أَينَما ذَهَبنا

“The homeland is the language we carry with us wherever we go.”

أَكتُبُ لِأَنَّني لا أَستَطيعُ أَن أَصمُتَ أَمامَ أَشياءَ تُؤلِمُني

“I write because I cannot be silent in the face of things that hurt me.”

أَنتَ لَم تُحِبَّني، أَنتَ أَحبَبتَ امرَأَةً اختَرَعتَها

“You did not love me — you loved a woman you invented.”

قُلْ إِن كُنتُمْ تُحِبُّونَ ٱللَّهَ فَٱتَّبِعُونِى يُحْبِبْكُمُ ٱللَّهُ وَيَغْفِرْ لَكُمْ ذُنُوبَكُمْ ۗ وَٱللَّهُ غَفُورٌۭ رَّحِيمٌۭ

“Say: if your heart holds love for God, then walk my path — and God shall love you in return, and wash your sins away with His infinite mercy.”

أُحِبُّكِ فَوْقَ مَا تَحْتَمِلُ الْكَلِمَاتُ

“My love for you exceeds the weight that words were made to carry.”

وَلَقَدْ خَلَقْنَا ٱلْإِنسَٰنَ وَنَعْلَمُ مَا تُوَسْوِسُ بِهِۦ نَفْسُهُۥ ۖ وَنَحْنُ أَقْرَبُ إِلَيْهِ مِنْ حَبْلِ ٱلْوَرِيدِ

“We created man and know the whispers of his soul — for We are nearer to him than his very jugular vein.”

وَيَرْزُقْهُ مِنْ حَيْثُ لَا يَحْتَسِبُ ۚ وَمَن يَتَوَكَّلْ عَلَى ٱللَّهِ فَهُوَ حَسْبُهُۥٓ ۚ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ بَٰلِغُ أَمْرِهِۦ ۚ قَدْ جَعَلَ ٱللَّهُ لِكُلِّ شَىْءٍۢ قَدْرًۭا

“Whoever places his trust in Allah shall find Him all-sufficient — for Allah fulfils His purpose, and to all things He has appointed their due measure.”

إِنَّمَا ٱلْمُؤْمِنُونَ ٱلَّذِينَ إِذَا ذُكِرَ ٱللَّهُ وَجِلَتْ قُلُوبُهُمْ وَإِذَا تُلِيَتْ عَلَيْهِمْ ءَايَٰتُهُۥ زَادَتْهُمْ إِيمَٰنًۭا وَعَلَىٰ رَبِّهِمْ يَتَوَكَّلُونَ

“True believers are those whose hearts tremble at the name of Allah, whose faith deepens with every verse, and who trust entirely in their Lord.”

يَٰٓأَيُّهَا ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوٓا۟ ءَامِنُوا۟ بِٱللَّهِ وَرَسُولِهِۦ وَٱلْكِتَٰبِ ٱلَّذِى نَزَّلَ عَلَىٰ رَسُولِهِۦ وَٱلْكِتَٰبِ ٱلَّذِىٓ أَنزَلَ مِن قَبْلُ ۚ وَمَن يَكْفُرْ بِٱللَّهِ وَمَلَٰٓئِكَتِهِۦ وَكُتُبِهِۦ وَرُسُلِهِۦ وَٱلْيَوْمِ ٱلْءَاخِرِ فَقَدْ ضَلَّ ضَلَٰلًۢا بَعِيدًا

“O believers, hold fast to faith in Allah, His Messenger, and the Books He revealed — for to deny these is to lose one's way utterly.”

قُلْ يَٰعِبَادِ ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوا۟ ٱتَّقُوا۟ رَبَّكُمْ ۚ لِلَّذِينَ أَحْسَنُوا۟ فِى هَٰذِهِ ٱلدُّنْيَا حَسَنَةٌۭ ۗ وَأَرْضُ ٱللَّهِ وَٰسِعَةٌ ۗ إِنَّمَا يُوَفَّى ٱلصَّٰبِرُونَ أَجْرَهُم بِغَيْرِ حِسَابٍۢ

“Those who endure shall receive their recompense beyond all measure — a reward without reckoning.”
