قولٌ عربيٌّ مشهور: «الصبر مفتاح الفرج». معناه صحيحٌ تؤيّده نصوص القرآن والسنّة في فضل الصبر (كحديث «وأنّ النصر مع الصبر»)، لكنه في ذاته مثَلٌ سائر وليس حديثاً نبويّاً ثابتاً كما يُظَنّ كثيراً، ويُرجَّح أنّ لصياغته أصلاً في مثلٍ قديمٍ متداوَلٍ بين الأمم.

A well-known Arabic saying — “patience is the key to relief.” Its meaning is firmly supported by the Qurʾan and Sunnah on the merit of patience (e.g. “victory comes with patience”), but the phrase itself is a proverb, not an authenticated hadith — a point worth noting, since it is often quoted as one. Some trace its wording to an older cross-cultural maxim.
