وَإِذَا تُتْلَىٰ عَلَيْهِمْ ءَايَـٰتُنَا بَيِّنَـٰتٍۢ قَالَ ٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا۟ لِلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوٓا۟ أَىُّ ٱلْفَرِيقَيْنِ خَيْرٌۭ مَّقَامًۭا وَأَحْسَنُ نَدِيًّۭا

“When clear verses are recited, the disbelievers challenge: which group stands firm, which assembly shines bright?”

Literal translation

“And when Our clear verses are recited to them, those who disbelieve say to those who believe: which of the two groups is better in position and superior in assembly?”
